Mantra Diksha organised in presence & by Sadhvi Shri Dr. Kundan Rekha Ji on 17.07.2011at Kesinga.More than 100 children participated in this event. Mantra diksha is a very valuable diksha in Jain Dharma; here every child takes oath of being a good child, all of them take oath of uttering Namokar Mantra (mahamantra) in their daily life.Namaskar Mahamantra Decoration Competition
Sadhvi Shri Dr. Kundan Rekha JI , an art program on decoration of “Namaskar Mahamantra” was organized by Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Kesinga. A total of 43 decorated art pieces were submitted by 43 different peoples. All the 43 decorated entries were wonderful & amazing. Some people wrote Namokar mantra by Rice, Sand, Mustard, paper cuttings etc.; some other used nice colour patterns to decorate the art pieces. Special entries were encouraged & were honoured with prizes.
On this occasion Sadhvi Shri Kundan Rekha Ji said that – Namaskar Mahamantra is mangalkari (does good for everyone), Kalyankari (welfare), vighnahari (saves from obstacles, trouble etc.). There is a specialty in this Namokar mantra, i.e. that in this mantra we don’t worship any person or name, but we worship & honour the attributes of great souls who all got rid of their sins (Karmas), & are now independent from the circle of birth & death. It helps us to be polite, dedicated, & lowers our ego. She said that it’s my wish that everyone should decorate Namaskar Mahamantra in their heart; utilize their potential for the upliftment of their soul.
